February 12th at the 10am Mass at OLGC is scout Sunday. ALL scouts are invited to attend that Mass in Class A uniforms.

Four of our scouts are receiving the Ad Altare Dei Boy Scout Religious emblem.

Troop 976 will send at least one crew to Lenkok'sin this summer. Lenhok'sin is a weeklong backpacking trek at Goshen Scout Reservation. We will plan to backpack 5-10 miles each day, then set up camp and participate in an activity (caving, blacksmithing, aquatics, ..) We get to pick which outposts we hike to and plan our own itinerary. It is sometimes described as a mini-Philmont. The memorial service for Mr. Jack Lundin, former District Eagle Representative will be at the Vienna Presbyterian Church on 28 December at 11:00 AM with a repast afterwards.

Hi everyone!

During the meetings through November and December, I am collecting diapers sizes 5 and 6 for an Afghanistan family in need. This is to fulfill a requirement for Ad Altare Dei (Boy scout religious Emblem). If you bring diapers to any meeting before January I will collect them.
